StarShipSofa is on the Hugo Ballot!

April5

Huge congratulations to Sofa Commander Tony C. Smith on this historic occasion. StarShipSofa just became the first podcast ever to make it onto the Hugo Awards ballot!

As near as I can tell this is largely the result of the tireless efforts of Matthew Sanborn Smith in getting the word out that it was even eligible as a Fanzine. Many wonderful and influential people took up the cause, and I’m so happy to see that it paid off.

Congratulations to all of 2010′s Hugo nominees!
